Yangon-Bago-Yangon 4days/3nights
Day-01: Yangon Arrival (D) Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Meet and transfer to hotel. Evening, visit Shwedagon Pagoda
- 2500 years old world famous stupa before dinner. Then, proceed to a restaurant for dinner. Your first night of stay in Yangon at the hotel of your choice.
Day-02: Yangon (B/L/D) After breakfast at hotel, morning Yangon City tour including visits to Sule Pagoda - the heart of the city surrounded by several colonial style buildings and the independent monument; Strand Jetty – the place to study Yangon's river life; Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda - one of the biggest colossal reclining Buddha Image in Myanmar; and local Glass Blowing Factory. Lunch at a typical Myanmar Restaurant. After lunch, visit Kyauktawgyi Pagoda – the world biggest 555 tons weighed marble Buddha; Tooth Relic Pagoda and end of the tour at Bogyoke Market - used to be called Scott Market, and souvenir shopping center. Evening, take a walk along the China Town before dinner at Karaweik Palace - a famous restaurant located on the Royal Lake built in the style of Royal Barge used by Myanmar's old days Kings, for dinner and traditional cultural show. Overnight in Yangon.
Day-03: Yangon-Bago-Yangon (B/L/D) After breakfast at hotel, full day tour to Bago located 80km northeast of Yangon which was an ancient Mon's capital. On the way, visit Htaukkyant World War II Cemetery where 27,000 allied soldiers who had perished during the Second World War were buried. Tour highlights in Bago are: Kyahkatwine Teaching Monastery; Kyeikpun Pagoda - four gigantic Buddha Images; Cheroot making cottage industry; Shwethalyaung Pagoda - another biggest reclining Buddha Image in Myanmar built during 9th century; Kanbawzathadi Palace – the palace site of King Bayinnaung who is the founder of Myanmar 2nd Dynasty; and Mons' weaving village. Lunch will be at a restaurant in Bago. Dinner and overnight in Yangon.
Day-04: Yangon-Departure (B) After Breakfast at hotel, early morning transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure.
