Luang Prabang - Hang Sa - Luang Prabang 4Days

DAY 1: LUANG PRABANG – HONG SA
Upon leaving Luang Prabang, we embark on a speed boat on the Mekong river to Ban Thaxouang, stopping along the way at the mysterious Pak Ou cave housing thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes.

On arrival at Ban Thaxouang we travel by roads through the scenic mountain landscape for Hongsa. Overnight in Hongsa.

DAY 2: HONGSA – ELEPHANT RIDING
The remoteness and simple lifestyle of hill tribe people are highlights of Hongsa although conditions are very basic.

After breakfast, we take an elephant ride through the primeval jungle of the Lu hill tribe village where we have a chance to visit local home and enjoy a traditional performance. Overnight on Hongsa.

DAY 3: HONG SA - LUANGPRABANG
Today, we drive back to Thaxouang before we set off on speed boat trip to LuangPrabang. On the way, there is an enjoyable at Ban Xang Hai well know for the rice wine distillation. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 4: LUANGPRABANG
The tour ends after breakfast.
